About Us
North Texas Academy began in 1992 with six students in a garage conversion in Plano, Texas. It has now grown to students living around the world, with an enrollment of 150-175 students each year. While public and private schools work well for many students, there are some that study better privately in their homes, with the help of a teacher or parent or both.
North Texas Academy offers education for students in kindergarten through the 12th grade. We use state adopted curriculum, which means the curriculum is the same publishers that you would find in Texas public schools and most states in the United States. The basic courses we teach include English, math, science, social studies/history, literature, and various electives in high school.
